L\u2019\u00e9conomie de la r\u00e9gion de Oubri repose principalement sur l\u2019agriculture et l\u2019\u00e9levage. L\u2019agriculture est domin\u00e9e par le maraichage \u00e0 savoir la production\u00a0 \u00a0d\u2019oignons, de tomates, de carottes\u00a0 pratiqu\u00e9e majoritairement par les jeunes et les femmes. On note \u00e9galement un dynamisme dans le secteur de l\u2019artisanat, une industrialisation au stade embryonnaire avec la pr\u00e9sence de petites unit\u00e9s de transformation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Agriculture<\/span> <\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t

    R\u00e9sum\u00e9 sur l\u2019agriculture<\/p>

    Les populations de la r\u00e9gion vivent essentiellement de l\u2019agriculture. En effet, 52,0 % de femmes et 48,0% d’hommes la pratiquent (RGA 2).<\/p>

    La r\u00e9gion de Oubri pr\u00e9sente un potentiel int\u00e9ressant dans le domaine agricole due \u00e0 son climat favorable qui d\u00e9termine ses diff\u00e9rents types de sols. On distingue entre autres\u00a0:<\/p>

    • les sols ferrugineux tropicaux lessiv\u00e9s couvrant environ 50% de la superficie et aptes aux cultures fourrag\u00e8res, \u00e0 la sylviculture et aux cultures pluviales\u00a0;<\/li>
    • les sols hydromorphes sont les moins repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s et couvrent environ 10 % du territoire r\u00e9gional. Ces sols sont rencontr\u00e9s dans les lits mineurs des cours d\u2019eaux et les bas-fonds et aptes aux cultures mara\u00eech\u00e8res, au riz pluvial et irrigu\u00e9 et aux cultures fourrag\u00e8res.<\/li><\/ul>

      La production des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales (mais, sorgho, riz) est plus importante dans la province du Ganzourgou notamment dans les Am\u00e9nagements des Vall\u00e9es de la Volta (AVV). Quant \u00e0 la production maraich\u00e8re, elle est plus pratiqu\u00e9e dans la province de Bassitenga avec des cultures telles que l\u2019oignon, la tomate, la carotte, le choux\u2026.<\/p>

      Les diff\u00e9rentes activit\u00e9s telles que les am\u00e9nagements des bas-fonds et p\u00e9rim\u00e8tres irrigu\u00e9s permettent d\u2019augmenter les superficies de production de la r\u00e9gion. En 2025, environ 1200 ha de bas-fonds ont \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9nag\u00e9s par l\u2019Etat et ses partenaires en vue de booster la production rizicole.\u00a0 Environ 3800 ha de plaines et bas-fonds ont \u00e9t\u00e9 emblav\u00e9s, et 3030 ha de labours ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s. au profit des producteurs.<\/p>

      Malgr\u00e9 les \u00e9normes potentialit\u00e9s et les diff\u00e9rents appuis multiformes de l\u2019Etats (intrants, tracteurs\u2026) le secteur agricole fait face \u00e0 de multiples contraintes dont les plus r\u00e9currentes sont\u00a0:\u00a0<\/p>

      • la sp\u00e9culation fonci\u00e8re\u00a0grandissante r\u00e9duisant les terres agricoles ;<\/li>
      • la d\u00e9gradation continue de la ressource sol\u00a0;<\/li>

        \u00c9levage<\/span> <\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t

        La r\u00e9gion regorge d\u2019\u00e9normes potentialit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9levage. Elle dispose d\u2019un important cheptel et des infrastructures pastorales (parcs \u00e0 b\u00e9tail et de vaccination, aires de p\u00e2turage, couloirs de transhumance, pistes \u00e0 b\u00e9tail etc..). En outre, on assiste \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mergence de promoteurs priv\u00e9s qui interviennent dans la production, la transformation et la commercialisation des produits de l\u2019\u00e9levage.<\/p>

        Le domaine de l\u2019aquaculture n\u2019est pas en reste dans la r\u00e9gion. En effet, \u00e0 la faveur de l\u2019Offensive Agro Pastorale et Halieutique, on assiste \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mergence de nombreux entrepreneurs aquacoles. L\u2019activit\u00e9 se pratique sur des cages flottantes, notamment dans le barrage de Loumbila et dans des bassins construits \u00e0 cet effet.<\/p>

        Cependant l\u2019\u00e9levage est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des contraintes dont les principales sont\u00a0:<\/p>

        • la d\u00e9gradation des parcours pastoraux\u00a0existants ;<\/li>
        • la faible disponibilit\u00e9 de p\u00e2turage et autres aliments pour b\u00e9tail en saison s\u00e8che\u00a0;<\/li>
        • l\u2019insuffisance des points d\u2019eau pastoraux pour l\u2019abreuvement du b\u00e9tail\u00a0;<\/li>

            La r\u00e9gion de Oubri dispose d\u2019\u00e9normes potentialit\u00e9s mini\u00e8res au nombre desquelles figure principalement la ressource aurif\u00e8re.<\/p>

            De l’exploitation artisanale \u00e0 l\u2019exploitation industrielle, la recherche de l\u2019or occupe une frange importante de la jeunesse et contribue de mani\u00e8re significative \u00e0 l\u2019essor du tissu socio-\u00e9conomique r\u00e9gional.<\/p>
